Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 20, 2026 · Last updated: April 29, 2026

1. Overview

Cadybara (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to cadybara.com and the Cadybara application at app.cadybara.com.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information you provide

  • Waitlist sign-ups: email address submitted on the waitlist form
  • Google sign-in: name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account
  • Design prompts: natural language descriptions and any files you submit to generate 3D models
  • Generated outputs: the CadQuery code produced in response to your prompts, stored alongside the prompt that produced it
  • Interaction data: per-turn quality signals including whether a generation required retries, compile error types encountered, and the time elapsed before you sent a follow-up message. These signals are used to label the quality of each generated output.
  • Session continuity: a session identifier that links consecutive turns in the same design conversation, allowing us to reconstruct multi-turn design trajectories.
  • API keys: if you supply your own AI API keys, these are stored locally in your browser and are never sent to our servers

2b. Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
  • Device and browser information (type, OS, screen size)
  • IP address and approximate location (country/region)
  • Analytics events via Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Error logs and performance metrics

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Process design prompts and return generated 3D model output
  • Enforce usage limits and detect abuse
  • Send waitlist and product update emails (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • Analyze usage patterns to inform product development
  • Train Cadybara’s proprietary AI models: pairs of (design prompt, generated code) together with quality labels derived from interaction data may be used to train and evaluate future versions of Cadybara’s geometry generation models
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing and Training Data

Your design prompts are sent to third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) to generate parametric code and 3D model output. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their handling of data.

We do not sell your prompts or generated models to third parties. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve our prompt engineering and model selection.

Training data collection. To develop Cadybara’s own geometry-native AI models, we record structured training examples from your use of the Service. Specifically, for each design turn we store: your prompt, the CadQuery code present before and after the response, and quality signals (whether the generation required retries, error types encountered, and how quickly you sent a follow-up). We also link consecutive turns within a session so we can reconstruct multi-turn design trajectories.

This data is stored in our database and used solely to train, evaluate, and improve Cadybara’s AI models. It is not shared with or sold to third parties. You may request deletion of your interaction data by contacting us at the address in Section 12.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only:

  • Service providers: cloud hosting (e.g., Vercel, Google Cloud), analytics (Google Analytics), authentication (Google OAuth), and AI model providers — each bound by data processing agreements
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Cadybara or others
  • Business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication session management
  • Storing your theme and layout preferences (localStorage)
  • Google Analytics 4 usage measurement

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect authentication and personalization features.

7. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Design prompts and generated model data are retained to support your project history and may be deleted upon account deletion. Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing emails
  • Data portability (receive a copy of your data)

To exercise these rights, email us at alexliu1151@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure authentication via Google OAuth, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use the Service at your own risk for sensitive designs.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, by email if you have an account. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
